New Glasses!!

OK, for starters, I added another picture under the post "September Long Weekend". It's one that makes me & Lee and his family laugh, but maybe you had to be there!

In my August 20th post titled "I Wish I Was Sleeping" I mentioned getting new glasses. Well, I did! I think I got them that week, but I wanted pictures of them before I blogged about it, so finally I have pictures!

I got both regular glasses and prescription sunglasses, because Pearle Vision had a deal. I am very indecisive - we went to the city a couple of times and to a couple different stores before I finally settled on a pair of each.

And then they couldn't do the sunglasses I chose so I had to re-choose! I wanted a larger pair of sunglasses that wrapped around my face more, but they only had lenses up to a certain size they could put in, so I had to go smaller, and because of my prescription I had to choose a flatter pair. And so then it turned out I couldn't get a pair that had Vogue or other such name emblazoned (is that a word?) across the side, which sucks, cuz I really wanted that. But hey, I still like what I got.

I have a few small complaints about each pair, but they are not so bad that I can't live with them. I am, however, getting new lenses in my regular pair (for free) due to the fact that I unthinkingly chose the anti-glare coating which causes a ridiculous amount of smudging.
