Well, we are back from good ol' Saskatchewan! Lee & I and his parents & Josh and Adrian went there from Aug.30 - Sep.1. We stayed at the Sandman in Regina (really uncomfortable beds, btw) for the 2 nights. Sunday (the 31st) was spent going to the tiny town of Rouleau to see the buildings of Corner Gas, and going to the studio in Regina to see the sets of Corner Gas. It was a lot more fun & interesting than I expected! I will post pictures on that yet. We also took a quick tour of the Saskatchewan parliament building, which was not that exciting, but the building is beautiful. I really enjoyed swimming at the hotel pool both evenings, and the hot tub really helped my sore shoulders. Hm, what else. Oh, don't eat at Bonanza's, lol! All in all it was a really good weekend with lots of laughs.
Saskatchewan Legislative Building. Mom's taking a photo of Adrian in front of it.
I had to include this pic because it just cracks me up. We all went to the hotel pool to check it out and there was an exercise room next to it which of course the guys had to test out. Adrian got on this treadmill and put it to as fast as it could go and actually only grabbed the bar right as the picture was taken (by Lee) - before that he was running hands free. We all just stood there and laughed until we cried; for some reason it was just hilarious - you can see his legs are just a blur.
